Description: One Earth is a proposed solar farm with battery storage located across the border of Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire. As part of their commitment to support the local community, they have set up a new Community Fund administered by Nottinghamshire Community Foundation. The Fund is open for applications from registered community groups, local charities and not for profit CIC’s and parish councils working in the following areas:
Priority area No 1.
Kettlethorpe with Fledborough
Newton on Trent
Dunham with Ragnall, Fledborough and Darlton
Normanton on Trent with Marnham
South Clifton
North Clifton
Thorney
Priority Area No 2.
Laneham Parish Council
Wigsley Parish Council
Hardwick
East Drayton
Tuxford Town Council
East Markham
Girton
Spalford
Wigsley
North Scarle
Saxilby with Ingleside
Criteria: The funders are keen to support the community living in these areas. We welcome applications that improve the education, health and wellbeing of local residents, as well as enhancements of the local environment or improvements to community infrastructure.
Please note:
- The funder will not make grants to individuals or large national charities.
- The funder will not consider applications in respect of:
- Loans or business finance
- Campaigning work and projects that are primarily political
- Activities that have already taken place
- General or mail shot appeals.
- Religious or proselytising activities.
- The funder will not donate to activities that are the responsibility of the local health authority, education authority, local parish or district council or government bodies.
